Mitchelstown Caves
Thu 26th – Sat 28th July

In what promises to be a truly unforgettable experience, The Staves, Daniel Martin Moore and Hidden Highways will start off the series on Thursday 26th July. While on Friday 27th July Sam Amidon, Puzzle Muteson and Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh will enlighten their audience and enliven the Cave. On the final night of the series, Saturday 28th July, Iarla Ó Lionáird, Caoimhín Ó Raghailligh, The Lost Brothers, Sean MacErlaine and Donal Dineen will offer a completely inimitable experience in the depths of the Cave.

Not only are the artists involved so unique in their styles and charismatic in their delivery, The Mitchelstown Caves promises to play as much a unique and charismatic role in the evening. There are 88 steep steps down into the cave which will lead to this most unusual of performance spaces after a half mile guided walk. With the temperature in the Cave at a constant 12°, the climate will be the only thing that is so temperate, as the timbre of music to be heard will be searing hot. Those attending the event will be asked to sit down and brace themselves for an unforgettable experience.

People are kindly asked to arrive at the entrance to Mitchelstown Caves at 7pm.
