An Encore Presentation of the National Theatre Live Show of the new play 'Frankenstein' by Nick Dear based on the novel by Mary Shelley

Oscar-winner Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) directs this visionary production featuring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller in alternating roles as both Frankenstein and the Monster. Audiences in cinemas will have the chance to see both combinations over two days.

Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein's bewildered creature is cast out into a hostile universe by his horror-struck maker. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the friendless Creature, increasingly desperate and vengeful, determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal.

29th June: Benedict Cumberbatch as the Creature; Jonny Lee Miller as Frankenstein
