The Sound of Music

Cork Opera House proudly brings you the world's most popular musical 'The Sound of Music' to the stage once again.

One of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most enduring musical classics, The Sound of Music  tells the story of a headstrong postulant called Maria who is appointed governess to the seven children of Captain Georg von Trapp, melting his stern heart with her free-spirited nature. The Sound of Music touches the hearts of young and old alike and features some of musical theatre's most popular songs including… Edelweiss, My Favourite Things, Do-Re-Mi and Climb Every Mountain.
