BEETHOVEN on Thursday, 6th April 2023 will be a firm favourite amongst classical music lovers; kicking off our Proms with a fabulous evening dedicated to some of Beethoven’s most famous orchestral works.

Under the baton of Maestro, John O’Brien, the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra will perform Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 3 in E♭ Major” and “Symphony No. 5 in C Minor”. This will be a special night of music making, celebrating one of history’s most influential and important composers.

The hugely celebrated Cork Proms is back next Easter at the Cork Opera House with a series of themed concerts featuring the three B’s…Beethoven, Broadway and The Beatles. An opportunity for any music fan who is not familiar with orchestral music to experience something incredibly special. It’s also a rare treat for our orchestral audiences.

The Cork Proms 2023 will feature the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra conducted in turns by renowned conductors, John O’Brien, Elaine Kelly and Cathal Synnott; alongside some incredible soloists.

The Cork Proms 2023 will be a celebration of Cork as a musical city; giving audiences the opportunity to engage with some of the best music ever written.
