Jake Carter
Three Things Tour 2018

Pop sensation Jake Carter has taken the Irish pop music scene by storm since his launch on national television in 2017. He has quickly developed a name for himself as the next big thing on the Irish pop music scene and has wowed audiences across the country with his energetic live performances – which usually end with mob’s of teenage girls screaming out his name! To date Jake has released four singles and an EP titled ‘Three Things’, which have all received raving reviews from his loyal fan base and from radio alike.

Ever the one to try new experiences, Jake ended a very busy gigging season in 2017 by trying his hand at acting, and played the lead part of Alladdin in the SSE Arena Belfast alongside co-stars Nadia Forde and Rhydian. He loved the experience and it was made even more special by the fact that it was the first time a panto had be produced in an arena in Ireland or Northern Ireland. “Performing to audiences on that scale every day during panto gave me a hunger to do that for the rest of my life!” says Jake.

Following this Jake had a very short break over Christmas before he was straight into rehersals for RTE’s Dancing With The Stars 2018. Jake quickly established himself as one to watch in the competition and as the weeks have gone by Jake and his pro dance partner Karen Byrne have wowed the judges and audiences at home with their impressive dance routines  – scoring them top marks most weeks and regularly taking top place on the leader board. Now into the final week of the competition , Jake and Karen are hopefull that they will have their chance of taking the crown for 2018. The public support for Jake has been amazing and he is asking everyone to continue to support him right through to the end.  ‘”In competitions like this people can get lazy when it comes to voting for someone when they see they are getting high scores because they assume that they don’t need their vote, but that’s where these competitions can change suddenly and you can be sent home sooner than you think as a result of that – I need all the votes I can get!! “ – say’s Jake.

Following his success on Dancing With The Stars, Jake is keen to strap on his guitar and get back on the road with his band and perfrom his latest songs for his new found audience. Jake will be embarking on a nationwide tour this April (during the Easter mid-term school  break) which will include dates at the INEC Killarney, the Waterfront Belfast, Millenium Forum Derry, Cork Opera House, Theatre Royal Waterford, UCH Limerick, TLT Drogheda, Iontas Castleblayney, Piano Bar Athlone and Hawkswell Theatre Sligo. Jake and his band will perfrom a mix of his own hits and pop covers over a two hour show and guarantee to have the audience on their feet for the duration.
