Cork Opera House Christmas Pantomime Charity Partner 2025
This Christmas season, Cork Opera House is calling on grass roots charities in Cork who work with vulnerable people in society to apply to become a charity partner for our Christmas Pantomime, Aladdin.
Aladdin will run for 70 shows across the Christmas season and presents an ideal opportunity for local charities to share their message, connect with audiences, and shine a spotlight on the incredible work they do every day
to support others.
Examples of eligible grassroots charities include, but are not limited to, those working with:
- People who are homeless
- Migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers
- People with disabilities, including children with disabilities
- Families in crisis or children in care
- Mental health and wellbeing support groups
- Women’s refuges and those affected by domestic violence
- Food banks and community kitchens
- Elderly people and loneliness outreach programmes
- The LGBTQ+ community
- Carers’ associations and family support networks
- Youth groups working in disadvantaged areas
Each year, the much-loved Cork Opera House pantomime brings joy, laughter, and a sense of togetherness to thousands of families across Cork and beyond. Through this partnership, your charity will have the opportunity to:
- Fundraise at Cork Opera House during a run of Aladdin performances, connecting directly with our audiences and sharing your message.
- Be featured and acknowledged during the show, raising awareness of your cause.
- Build a lasting relationship with Cork Opera House and our audiences, who have always shown generous support for local charities and community initiatives.
This initiative reflects Cork Opera House’s belief that the arts have the power to bring people together and make a meaningful difference in our community, especially during the Christmas season, when compassion
and generosity shine brightest.

All applications will be reviewed and selected by a panel and successful applicants will be contacted in writing.
We look forward to hearing from local charities who share our passion for creating positive change and making this Christmas season one of joy, hope, and community spirit for all.
