Our wheelchair lift on the ground floor gives greater accessibility to the auditorium.

Our elevator is situated on the left side of the Opera House. This enables wheelchair users’ complete access to all levels of Cork Opera House.

Our wheelchair accessible toilet is situated on our top floor.

Accessible Parking

Cork City Council facilitates accessible parking in the city for those with a Disabled Person’s Parking Permit. The nearest accessible parking spots currently available are on Emmett Place, alongside the Crawford Art Gallery.

Assistive Listening for Hearing Impaired People

An induction loop is in operation for patrons with hearing difficulties. People with hearing aids should set them to ‘T’.

Relaxed Performances

Cork Opera House is delighted to present Relaxed Performances of our annual winter Panto. Information for Families

Buggy Access:
For family shows such as our Christmas Panto, Peppa Pig, Bluey etc., where young children will be present, we reserve an area to park buggies for the duration of the show free of charge. Please note, there is very limited space here, if possible it is advisable to leave buggies at home. Ushers will be on hand to assist, however it should be noted that buggies and items in this area are left at the owner’s risk.

Baby Changing Facilities:
Baby changing facilities are available in our ground floor bathroom, to the left hand side of our building.
