For 63 years the Montfort College of Performing Arts has been one of Ireland’s most prestigious and credible training grounds for young talent for children aged 3 years of age upwards. This May the Montfort College of Performing Arts proudly presents ‘Applause 2025’ – a song and dance extravaganza featuring over 1500 students from all over Cork city and county.

Join us for a night of family entertainment with spectacular costumes and dance styles ranging from jazz to ballet, hip hop to tap, acro to commercial. In addition our musical theatre students will perform some of the biggest hits from Broadway and Disney including West Side Story, Mean Girls, Moana, Young Frankenstein, Jekyll & Hyde, Anything Goes & Shrek.

Footwork is the annual celebration of all that makes Centre Stage School a powerhouse of Arts Education in County Cork – song, dance and theatre all performed by students aged 6 to 20.

Featuring hundreds of students from Musical Theatre, Theatre Tots, Competition Dance / Musical Theatre Teams, Acrodance, Commercial Jazz Dance, Ballet, Modern Dance, Dance for fun, Jazz Dance and Hip Hop performing a mix of classic and contemporary pieces, Footwork 2025 is certain to thrill the whole family in this colourful, electric performance.

Centre Stage School (with students from Mallow, Charleville and Kanturk), performs in Cork Opera House annually and relishes the opportunity to let their very talented students show what they can do!
