Cork City Ballet celebrates the centenary celebrations of one of the most iconic figures of ballet in Ireland - Joan Denise Moriarty in 2012 – with the company’s first full length production of The Sleeping Beauty directed by Alan Foley and reproduced by Yuri Demakov from the Bolshoi Ballet in November.
Cork City Ballet’s new production promises to be spectacular, from the opulent costumes to the alluring sets, combined with magnificent dancing by company principal’s, soloist’s and a full corps de ballet.
