2027 is a very special year for Cork City Ballet as it marks the 80th Anniversary of ballet companies in Cork, with a stellar lineup of magnificent performances and events celebrating this milestone.
This Ballet Gala is produced and directed by the company’s Artistic Director Alan Foley with choreography by Yury Demakov, Patricia Crosbie and Alan Foley. With spectacular excerpts from all your favourite ballets including Swan Lake, Giselle and Don Quixote and starring principal dancers and soloists from Cork City Ballet, this landmark occasion is one not to miss.
This unforgettable evening will showcase a breathtaking programme of classical ballet including the sparkling grand pas de deux from Le Corsaire, The Dying Swan and a suite from the ballet Coppelia, as well as Patricia Crosbie’s jazz-ballet Bodyguard (with music by Paul Simon) and The Playboy of the Western World, making this magical production suitable for all the family.
